Unconditional Waiver and Release on Progress Payment

This form is designed to be used after a progress payment has been received on a California construction project. It documents that the claimant has been paid and is unconditionally waiving certain lien and payment rights for work performed through the specified Through Date. This form should only be used after payment has been received.

Important Notice:

California law requires that an Unconditional Waiver and Release on Progress Payment should only be used after the claimant has received payment. If payment has not been received, a Conditional Waiver and Release on Progress Payment should be used instead. Contractors are responsible for selecting the appropriate waiver form and ensuring it is used in accordance with applicable California law.
