Reduction of Stop Payment Notice

A two-page form for documenting the partial reduction of a California Stop Payment Notice after the claimant receives a partial payment. The form records the original notice amount, payment received, amount of the reduction, and the balance that must remain withheld.

It includes sections for the construction fund holder, prime contractor, property owner, project information, payment details, reduction calculation, verification, and claimant’s signature. The reduction applies only to the stated amount and does not release the Stop Payment Notice in its entirety or waive the claimant’s other stated rights.
